Consider bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. the walls may not block out all noise from neighboring rooms.

The standout feature was the excellent on-site dining. the breakfast options were delightful, especially the fresh fruit. While the room was cozy and pristine, it was quite compact, and regulating the temperature was a bit challenging. The common area, complete with a fireplace, added a warm touch, perfect for a relaxing evening after a full day outdoors.

The breakfast was quite enjoyable and fresh.
During our stay, we were deeply troubled by the noise levels. It felt like we were sharing our room with everyone around us. I could hear conversations and showers from other guests. The thin walls really disrupted our sleep, making us wake up sooner than we would have liked.

Had a fantastic time with friends here! We loved soaking in the hot tub while watching for the Northern Lights after a day of horse riding and exploring nearby waterfalls. Breakfast was a treat and the staff were super friendly. Just a tip—don’t count on dinner being served, but we enjoyed some tasty soup one night.
Our room felt a bit small for all our luggage, but it was manageable for the short stay.

The location of Aurora Lodge is stunning, surrounded by beautiful views of the river and horse farms. The lodge itself is beautifully decorated with plenty of natural light. I loved relaxing in the hot tubs after a long day of hiking. The breakfast offered a nice variety of food and drink options, making mornings enjoyable. However, the walls are quite thin. I heard every sound from outside and neighboring rooms, which impacted my sleep. I had loud neighbors late at night, which was frustrating. Another downside was the tricky door locks, which made entry a bit inconvenient at times. Overall, despite the noise issues, the atmosphere and amenities made for a pleasant stay.

We had an amazing time enjoying the stunning views while unwinding in the hot tub under a sky full of stars. The cozy cabin setup was perfect for our family, and we loved the relaxing atmosphere of the sun terrace. Just a heads up, it gets busy during fishing season in summer, so book ahead! 🌟

The scenery around the place is breathtaking. the views from the guest lounge showcase Mount Hekla in all its glory. The cozy common areas create a warm atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
The soundproofing isn't up to par. the conversations from adjacent rooms can be heard clearly, which can be a bit distracting. Rooms feel somewhat cramped, especially the bathrooms, which are showing their age with impractical layouts. Some basic elements were surprising in their absence, like a TV or a safe, and the lack of simple amenities like shower gel left me wanting. Also, accessing the hot tubs is a bit of a hassle, since you have to be prepared to wander through the parking lot before or after, which can be inconvenient.
